Tuesday Seminar Series: Women's Rights in Theory and Practice: Status Politics and Violence against Women in Mexico
CGIS South, S-250, 1730 Cambridge Street
Tue., Mar. 28, 2017, 12 – 2 p.m.
This project explores the implications of the “rights revolution” for women in Latin America and beyond. Why have women’s rights advanced farther in some countries than others, and some issues more than other issues? What have changes in legal rights meant, if anything, for the lives of women from different social groups?
