Dear Harvard College Students,
For many of us, spring recess offers the chance to catch up on lost sleep, to travel, to reconnect with friends and family, and to reflect on the events and moments of the past few months.
During yesterday’s annual Housing Day, I was reminded of the power our community has to lift our spirits amidst turmoil, to rally us around a common purpose, and to allow us moments of respite and fun. I enjoyed seeing the pride and spirit each of you showed for your House communities. And while there may have been 12 residential Houses on display, there was one Harvard College in my heart—a Harvard embodied by inclusion and open arms.
I hope you have a wonderful recess, and I look forward to seeing you after the break. As always, I am deeply grateful for all you do to make Harvard College such a great community.
