Adventures Awaiting...

This summer I have had the wonderful opportunity to spend my days in Cambridge.  I absolutely love campus during the school year, but there is something much more relaxing about being on campus in the summer.  It has been a unique opportunity to see campus filled with visitors from all over the world, and to interact with these visitors has been exciting.

This summer has been filled with great times and great memories that I have been able to create with old, and new, friends.  Some of the highlights of my summer include:

Exploring Sail Boston with friends!

Two of my friends and I are standing in front of the Tall Ships at the Boston Harbor.

Going to a concert at TD Garden with one of my blockmates! (My voice was shot for tours for several days after this, but it was worth it!)

My friend and I are posing for a selfie at a concert.

Wandering around downtown Boston and watching the fireworks with friends on the Fourth of July!

Three of my friend and I are posing in front of a sculpture that spells out Boston, during our visit downtown.

Checking out some of the super cool museums in Boston!

My friend and I are standing in front of a garden that is part of an art museum in Boston.

It was amazing to spend time with my friends who were also on campus, but one of the best parts of my summer was getting to know my co-workers in the Admissions and Financial Aid Office, and finding new friends along the way.  I have met some of the nicest, craziest, sassiest, funniest, humblest, and strongest people - all of whom have been able to influence my character in the short time we have known each other.

My coworkers and I are caught on camera taking a selfie.

At the end of this week, I will head home to spend a few days with friends and family before the school year starts.  I am looking forward to the short break, but am also really excited to come back to campus for the start of sophomore year.

A large group of friends and I threw and end of the year celebration and birthday party, and are gathered for a group picture.

There is something so wonderful about being on campus in the fall.  Students are back and a certain spirit exists that brings campus to life.  I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has made my summer amazing.  I am excited to see my friends and hear about their summers, connect with all of my friends (new & old), and cannot wait to embark on my adventures yet to come…my adventures awaiting.
