“Animal-Shaped Vessels from the Ancient World: Feasting with Gods, Heroes, and Kings” brings together elaborate drinking and pouring vessels as well as related contextual works, offering a glimpse into the symbolism and communal practices that found expression at feasts across the ancient Near East and Mediterranean.
In recognition of an NEH grant, free admission offered Wednesday afternoons, 1–5 p.m., and first Saturday of each month throughout the run of the exhibition.
