Wiener Auditorium, Taubman Building + Online via Facebook or on our website in real-time across the country (we encourage you to participate live with a group of friends)
Wed., Apr. 12, 2017, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Resistance School is a free four-session practical training program that will sharpen the tools we need to fight back at the federal, state, and local levels. Our goal is to keep the embers of resistance alive through concrete learning, community engagement, and forward-looking action. Throughout April, we’ll have live-streamed and interactive workshops that are geared towards building skills to amplify our collective impact. Each session will be available on our Facebook page and on our website in real-time across the country.
Gazette Classification: Classes/Workshops
Organization/Sponsor: Harvard Kennedy School Democratic Caucus
Speaker(s): Over 50,000 people tuned in for our first Resistance School session on communicating our values in political advocacy with Professor Tim McCarthy. Former Obama grassroots movement architect Sara El-Amine will lead our second session on Wednesday, April 12 starting at 7:00 p.m. EST. Sara will take you through a boots-on-the-ground-centered training that will equip you to effectively mobilize and organize your community.
