Please join the Human Rights Program for a multidisciplinary conference that will examine the challenges that current developments characterized as populist pose to the goals of the international human rights system. Speakers will address a range of issues, including:
• The causes and effects of populism
• Populism in national and regional contexts such as the United States, Turkey, Poland, Southeast Asia, and Latin America
• Lessons learned for human rights
• Addressing effects of populism
