Meet Charlene Hong
Hey y’all! My name is Charlene Hong, and I am a proud homegirl from right outside Nashville, Tennessee. I am a freshmen, and I can’t decide whether to concentrate in either Government or Social Studies and pursue a secondary in either Classics or History, focusing on ancient civilizations. Outside of class, I’m involved in Circle of Women, a national organization that works to bring educational opportunities for girls in developing countries, and the Institute of Politics, where I serve on the Internships and Career Services committee. I also enslave my life (with much joy!) to Model United Nations by traveling and competing with the Intercollegiate Model United Nations Team, and staffing the Harvard Model United Nations conferences for both high school students and college students. In my free time, I like to jam in the Yard on my ukulele, ride my longboard to the dining hall and back, and pursue my actual concentrations in Professional Napping and Late-Night Snacking in Harvard Square.
