Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Audrey Cardoso, and I’m a junior in Kirkland House studying Sociology with a secondary in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. I grew up in Salinas, California, and I’m proud to be the daughter of immigrants from Sinaloa, Mexico. On campus, I’m involved as Co-President for the Latina Empowerment and Development Conference and a member of Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA. I also volunteer as a Spanish interpreter at Harvard Law School. I chose to become a Recruitment Ambassador because I know how meaningful it can be to see someone with a background similar to your own navigating a place like Harvard, and I hope to help prospective students see that there is a place for them here, too. As a Latina, first-generation, low-income student, I’m always happy to share my experiences and answer questions about navigating Harvard and its resources. I’m passionate about building community and helping others feel at home at Harvard, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
