Hi everyone! I’m Eliana, concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology (HDRB) with a secondary in Global Health & Health Policy and a citation in Amharic. I’m a proud Ethiopian raised 5 minutes away from Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts! On campus my involvements range from serving on the first-year board for Black Student Association (BSA) to working behind the circulation desk at Widener! Although my academic interests are mainly in health equity as an aspiring pediatrician, I have the goal of empowering underrepresented voices in all roles I’m in, especially as a first-generation low-income student! In my spare time, I love having movie nights with my friends in common rooms across the yard or introducing them to my favorite hidden gems around Cambridge and Boston!
