What was your professional path after college? Medical School, high school teacher, law school, attorney, prosecutor and now presiding judge
What fills your time now? Professionally and otherwise? Being a full-time judge and teaching other judges around the state and country occasionally
How did your academic experience at Harvard guide you in your post-grad pursuits? It taught me to ask many questions and pursue what I love
Did you have any research/internship opportunities and/or professor/mentor relationships that were influential? Professor Coles was very influential as a physician who loved literature
What was a favorite class you took and why? Robert Cole’s’ Gen Ed Class on the literature of self reflection because it linked literature to how to lead a good life
What were you involved in extracurricularly? Writing for the newspaper, intramural, Phillips brooks house volunteering
How did your extracurricular activities impact your Harvard experience? And have they had an impact on your post-grad life? Taught me the value of people and volunteer work
What is a favorite memory of Harvard House life? Eating dinner in the dining halls
What is your favorite Harvard tradition and why? Finding out what House you are going to live in. Excitement over the unknown
What advice do you have for someone applying to college? Seek a wide path of interests and meet as many people as you can handle
