Biography

Hello! My name is Anji, and I am a sophomore living in Winthrop House! I plan to double concentrate in Neuroscience and Economics on the pre-medical track. I am a Nigerian American from Idaho, and am proud to celebrate my heritage! Here on campus, I am very involved with the Nigerian Student Association and other black organizations. Mentorship has played a crucial role in supporting me in my journey from Idaho to Harvard. Therefore, as soon as I arrived on campus, I was eager to pass on this service to others. I am a Peer Advising Fellow and mentor with the Alberta V. Scott Academy. Additionally, I conduct developmental psychology research at Boston Children’s Hospital. In my free time, I enjoy weight-lifting, acting/theater, and listening to Youtube video essays. Applications and the transition to college, generally, can definitely feel daunting (especially if you are moving far from home). If you have any questions about Harvard—available on-campus resources, student life, the application process, adjusting to college, the pre-med experience, etc.—please feel free to reach out to me!
