Hello! My name is Carly, and I am a senior in Pforzheimer House concentrating in Molecular & Cellular Biology and History of Medicine on the pre-medical track. As a Latina and the first person in my family to go to college, I have always sought to increase access to higher education through mentorship initiatives, which I’ve carried forward through my work with Harvard PRIMUS, our premiere first-generation and low-income (FGLI) student group, Phillips Brookes House, the Harvard Institute of Politics, and beyond! Beyond education, I am heavily involved in cancer biology research, biotechnology consulting, pre-health programming, and more. Beyond academics, I am a casual powerlifter, lover of Cambridge’s small businesses, and avid thrifter in constant search for new outfits.
