The deadline to submit a Summer Loan Application Form for Summer 2026 is May 6, 2026.
How Does It Work?
If you receive Harvard Grant during the fall and spring semesters in 2025-2026, and you are taking summer courses for Harvard credit, you may be eligible to use a Harvard Summer Loan of up to $15,000 (depending on documented expenses) to help pay for summer school. Summer Loans may be used by current Harvard College students attending Harvard Summer School, run by the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) in Cambridge, MA, or studying abroad in a credit-bearing program approved by the Office for International Education.

Applications are reviewed regularly beginning in mid-April. You will receive an email if your application has been approved, or if we have any questions or need documentation for your requested amount.
