Hello! My name is Jordy, and I am a junior in Pforzheimer House. I concentrate in history, with a particular interest in revolutionary and early Republic American history. I originally hail from Bound Brook, New Jersey, a small town with majority Hispanic, low-income households. At Harvard, I am involved in intramurals sports, the Harvard Catholic Center, and the History Leadership Council. Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer, reading history, exercising in any capacity, and hanging out with friends on campus! As a senior in high school, I had the desire to attend Harvard, but it always felt like it was impossible because of my school’s limited resources. From that experience, I know the stressful and complicated reality of applying to college, and so I feel a moral obligation to help students who are in a position I was in!
