Hi y’all! My name is Jurni, and I’m from South Carolina—feel to say hello if you’re a fellow southerner! I’m a sophomore living in Cabot House, and I’m a Sociology concentrator on the Data Analytics track, with a secondary in Comparative Study of Religion. I’m pre-law, and I’m interested in politics, activism, and public service. I did SPARK, which is Harvard’s public service program for incoming first-years, as well as the First-Year Urban Program (FUP), and I’m currently a member of the Harvard Political Opinion Project, the Harvard Foreign Policy Initiative, a couple of Philip Brooks House Association programs, and the Generational African American Students’ Association. Outside of class, you can probably catch me at Lamont Library trying to catch up on my readings. I love trivia, and my goal is to go on Jeopardy one day. I know that the college admissions process can be stressful; I am here to help you navigate that process in any way that I can, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
