Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Meena, and I’m a rising sophomore at Harvard. I’ll be living in Pforzheimer House—affectionately known as Pfoho in Harvard lingo. I’m concentrating in Government and hoping to earn a language citation in Russian.

In addition to my internship at the Admissions Office, I’m involved in a wide range of extracurriculars at Harvard. I’m a mentor with the Emerging Leaders Program at the Radcliffe Institute, a youth leadership development initiative that pairs Harvard undergraduates with local high school sophomores. As mentors, we help students build leadership skills, explore past and present social movements, and support them on their journey as changemakers. Beyond my academic involvements, I play the cello in both the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra (HRO) and the Bach Society Orchestra (BachSoc), which have been incredibly fulfilling parts of my first year at Harvard. Lastly, I volunteer with the Small Claims Advisory Service (SCAS), a program through the Phillips Brooks House Association, where we help Cambridge residents navigate the small claims court process.

If you have any questions or want to learn more about student life and extracurriculars at Harvard, please feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect!
