Nina
Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Nina and I’m originally from Iowa City, Iowa. I’m a rising sophomore at the College living in Quincy House and I’m studying History and Literature (which is a combined concentration here) with a secondary in education. On campus, I’m a leader for the First-Year Outdoor Program (FOP) which is one of several pre-orientation programs for incoming first-years. I also do research at the Graduate School of Education and enjoy writing in any capacity possible! When I’m not hitting the books I absolutely love getting outside, whether it be through hiking a nearby mountain or taking a quick bike ride through Cambridge. I also really, really, love food and I’m a Food Literacy Project Fellow for Quincy House, which means I get to talk about food all the time! If I’m not doing any of that around campus, you can most likely catch me writing a lengthy Yelp review about a new restaurant in the area. I’ve been fortunate enough to have experienced so many wonderful parts of Harvard after just one year, but I remember just how daunting Harvard once seemed. I’m so excited to help calm any anxieties you may have and show you just how much Harvard can become home.
