I am Pepe, a sophomore living in Currier House concentrating in Government with a Language Citation in Spanish. I am originally from Finland, but I have spent my life living in Australia, India, Greece, and the Philippines. Alongside being a passionate reader, gym-goer, and a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, and serving as a Recruitment Ambassador with the Admissions Office, I spend my time around campus involved with the Institute of Politics, my fellow Nordics at the Nordic Club, the Venture Capital Group, and working as a Sales Associate at The Harvard Shop. Applying to Harvard may feel daunting but just know that Harvard is a home to a disparate and incredibly welcoming student body. I chose to apply to Harvard in order to challenge myself to be the best version of myself every day when surrounded by exceptionally diverse, talented, and ambitious individuals.
