Harvard College is a predominantly residential community. First-year students are required to live on campus, and nearly all students choose to live on campus for all four years. We recognize, however, that some students may elect to live off campus rather than in College housing. Students who live off campus are affiliated with one the twelve Harvard Houses and have access to advising and other College resources.
