A family that is tuition-free has a grant that covers the full cost of tuition for the year. Students will still see a tuition charge on their bill - they will just also see that the total cost of tuition has been covered by grant. Depending on the individual financial aid package, a family may still need to pay housing, food, and other fees, but at minimum tuition will be covered.
