What if I'm applying to more than 10 schools and my FAFSA list of schools is full?

Frequently Asked Questions

The FAFSA will only let you have 10 schools listed at one time. If you are applying to more than 10 schools, you can add and remove schools once your FAFSA has been processed. We recommend that you make sure you have received confirmation that your FAFSA was received and processed successfully by the Department of Education prior to adding or removing schools. Once you remove a school, they will no longer have access to any future changes or transactions. You’re welcome to take Harvard off your list if you need more space – if it turns out the FAFSA did not come through, we’ll let you know to add us back on if you are admitted. If you end up enrolling at Harvard, you should make sure that Harvard is listed on your FAFSA at that point, so that we receive any future changes or transactions.
