Hey y'all! My name is Aisha and I am an Egyptian from New York. I am currently a senior in Leverett House, concentrating in Sociology with a secondary in Educational Studies and a citation in Arabic. Other than HFAI, I'm involved with PBHA, FYRE—the preorientation program for first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented incoming first-years at the College, the Society of Arab Students, Harvard Islamic Society, and the Palestine Solidarity Committee. In my free time, I love to read (any kind of book), explore Boston and Cambridge, and try out new hobbies (currently ukulele and embroidery)! I remember how nerve-wracking the college and financial aid applications were, so I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about the process or about life at Harvard!
