Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Hana, and I am a freshman living in Weld Hall in Elm Yard. I intend to concentrate in Economics and Government. Coming to Harvard was a big move for me as I moved here from Milton, Ontario, Canada —  a suburb in the greater Toronto area! Before coming to Harvard, I was involved in many leadership and business organizations. On campus, I decided to explore my options and became heavily involved in cultural organizations like the Asian American Women’s Association, the Ghungroo production and the Pakistani Student Association. I also write for The Crimson’s Flyby, am a Diversity Ambassador for Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business, volunteer with the Y2Y homeless youth shelter and identify with many of the first generation low income groups on campus like PRIMUS and FYRE programs. Whether you’re interested in business, an international student, first gen low income, or looking to find your community on campus — feel free to reach out to me! I love getting to know new people, going on walks across campus or exploring new parts of the Square!
