Hello, my name is Patience, and I hail from the vibrant town of Redcliff in Zimbabwe. I am a rising sophomore at Harvard College, concentrating in Statistics with a secondary in Economics/Global Health. I will reside in Mather House this upcoming academic year, where I look forward to being part of a diverse and engaging community. This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to work as a recruitment intern at the Harvard Admissions Office. This role allows me to contribute to the university's mission of selecting exceptional candidates and fostering a vibrant academic environment. I am thrilled to be involved in the admissions process and help shape Harvard's future.
Throughout the term, I also work as an audiovisual assistant for Harvard Dorm Crews. I also look forward to working as a Calculus course assistant for the Math Department this Fall. In addition to my academic and professional commitments, I am an active member of Harvard Student Agencies. This involvement has exposed me to various projects and entrepreneurial opportunities, allowing me to develop valuable skills beyond the classroom. Within the Harvard community, I am proudly associated with the Harvard African Students Association (HASA), where I actively promote cultural awareness and organize events celebrating African heritage richness and diversity.
Furthermore, I am a member of the Woodbridge Society, where I can connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for social impact and community service. I am genuinely excited about the upcoming year, as it presents countless personal and academic growth opportunities. I am dedicated to making the most of my time at Harvard and contributing positively to the university and the broader community. I am happy to answer any questions you have!
