Hi! My name is Sharmila and I'm a recent graduate of the College. As an undergraduate, I lived in Mather House and concentrated in Earth & Planetary Sciences. I conducted research in various labs within the department and also participated in the Radcliffe Research Partner program which allows students from Harvard to work with visiting scholars at the Radcliffe Institute. Outside of classes, I was the President of the Harvard Geological Society and was also heavily involved with WHRB, the Harvard College radio station. This past year, I've been working as a research fellow in a lab in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences! In the fall, I’ll be attending the University of Cambridge to pursue a PhD in Plant Sciences.
