Dear Harvard College Parents and Guardians,

Please find below a message on the impending winter storm that was sent to your student this evening.

Warm regards,

Harvard College

Dear Harvard College Students,

The University, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the College continue to closely monitor the impending winter storm, which is predicted to arrive early tomorrow (Thursday) morning. As of this evening, all classes are planned to be held as scheduled.

Although the College plans to be open, some faculty and staff members may have difficulty traveling to Cambridge. We have asked faculty members who need to cancel their classes to please notify you directly. We also ask for your patience and flexibility should we need to reschedule meetings or experience delays in response times to inquiries at Harvard College offices.

Dining services will be uninterrupted, the Harvard Shuttle is expected to continue running, and van service for students registered with AEO will be extended from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sidewalks and entryways will be cleared throughout the day, but we encourage you to allow for more time than usual to traverse the campus.

We will be in touch if anything changes and recommend that you continue to check the FAS portal, harvard.edu/emergency or call 617-496-NEWS for up-to-date information. As always, please seek out your Faculty Deans, Resident Deans, tutors or proctors with any questions.

Best regards,
Dean Katie O’Dair
