Hey everyone! My name is Emily and I am concentrating in Earth and Planetary sciences. I’m passionate about researching in the field and getting my hands dirty for science. I am part of the sailing team here, so if you have any questions about athletics or walking onto a team let me know! I’m from a small rural farming town in northern Minnesota and am Lakota. I love the outdoors and connections to nature as well as understanding the cycles of the earth that we live on. During the times when I am not busy learning about soil, I love being outside or making playlists, riding my motorcycle, cooking, and pulling spontaneous all-nighters. As someone who never planned on or pictured themself attending college, I know how daunting this next step can be.
