Hey y’all! My name is Gabriel Wadford, and I am a junior living in Cabot House. I am joint concentrating in history and literature and African American studies. I grew up in a small rural town in South Carolina called Saint Stephen which is about an hour northwest of Charleston, so naturally I love the beach and sweet tea. Outside of classes, I’m mostly involved in the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College which is a non-audition choir dedicated to uplifting and celebrating Black creativity and spirituality. I’m also involved with the Institute of Politics and public service through my participation in programs with the Phillips Brooks House Association. In my free time, you can find me making playlists on Spotify, playing board/card games, or writing poetry. I love working with HFAI and communicating with prospective students about financial aid and life at Harvard, so please feel free to reach out with any questions you have!
