Hi friends! My name is Imaan (she/her), and I'm a third-year living in Mather House studying History & Literature. My family is from Lahore, Pakistan, but I grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I now call Indiana home. Before joining Harvard, I deferred enrollment and spent an amazing gap year in Alaska, Indiana, and Pakistan — an experience I wrote about for Harvard Admissions. On campus, I conduct constitutional research for Professor Jill Lepore and serve as a Features Editor for the Harvard Advocate, the oldest literary magazine in the country. I'd be honored to serve as a resource to answer all your questions: about Harvard academics, extracurriculars, gap years, and anything else! Looking forward to hearing from you!
