The Harvard Crimson, Act on a Dream

History & Literature joint with Studies of Women, Gender, & Sexuality

Hi! My name is Laura and I take she/her/hers pronouns. I am a senior living in Leverett House. I was born in Bogotá, Colombia and immigrated to the U.S. when I was three years old. I grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut and it remains the home I go back to during breaks. At Harvard, I am jointly studying History and Literature and Studies of Women, Gender, & Sexuality, with a secondary (our word for minor) in Ethnicity, Migration, & Rights. I am also working on getting a citation in French. On campus, I have been involved with the First-Year Urban Program, Act on a Dream, and The Harvard Crimson. I have been a part of the Harvard First Generation Program since the summer after my first year and I’m excited to continue communicating with prospective students. Please reach out if you have any questions about the application process or life on campus!
