Dear Harvard College Students, As the fall semester ends and winter break begins, I have been reflecting on the last year and thinking about what is to come.
Right at the start of senior year, I almost immediately felt tension build up around my head.
The first word of the email says “Congratulations,” not “Condolences.” My heart falls to my feet; my jaw drops; I’m sure this must be a hoax.
If you asked me my freshman year of high school what it meant to be a first-generation college student, I’d probably give you a confused look.
Something that I didn’t think about when coming to college was what it would be like to not be home for several holidays!
Small classes, fascinating course topics, personalized degree programs, and unsurpassed research opportunities across a diverse field of subjects.
The Griffin Financial Aid Office provides need-based aid that allows us to bring the best students to Harvard, regardless of their ability to pay.
