Hi everyone! My name is Quinn, and I’m a junior pursuing a concentration in Government and a secondary in Economics. I transferred to Harvard College in the fall of 2022 from a community college in the greater Seattle, WA region, and was raised in Corvallis, Oregon. Prior to my endeavors in higher education, I served in the United States Army as an 11B Infantryman, where I spent the majority of my service as an M240 machine gunner and weapons squad team leader. I currently serve as the Director of Finance for the Harvard Undergraduate Veterans Organization (HUVO), am an analyst with the Harvard Financial Analysts Club, and play for the Harvard Men’s Rugby team. I also volunteer with nonprofits such as Service to School and Student Veterans of America to assist military veterans in applying to elite academic institutions. Outside of class, I love to cook new foods from different cultures around the world, and decompress on the grass-lined beaches of Cape Cod. As a student with a nontraditional path to Harvard, I hold an immense passion for facilitating the opportunity to call Harvard home for all students, regardless of one’s personal background or story.
