Biography

Hi there! My name is Braeden Foldenauer, and I am from Mississippi studying Government and Education. Outside of class, I am a voting member and steering committee member on the Harvard College Honor Council, am a senior student ambassador for the Advanced Leadership Initiative, and am involved with various political and cultural groups on campus. In my free time, I enjoy jamming to soul music, weightlifting, and binge-watching YouTube videos! I value my work with the Harvard First Generation Program because I know how daunting it can be to be the first in your family to graduate from college. Fortunately, I’ve always had help along the way, and I hope to pay that help forward by being a resource for you. Though I never imagined being at a place like Harvard, I’ve been amazed by the extensive support and incredible community I’ve experienced on campus, and I hope to share that with you. Above all, I hope you find being a first-generation student a source of pride! If you have any questions about Harvard, life as a first-gen college student, or college and the application process in general, please reach out to me. I look forward to hearing from you!
