Biography

Hey everyone! My name is Raymond, and I’m a junior at Harvard College studying Neuroscience on the Mind, Brain, and Behavior track. I live in Currier House—objectively the best house at the College! Outside of Neuroscience, I love all things plants, music, and psychology. On campus, you can find me singing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum (the best choir at Harvard!), working at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, or helping with research at the Boston Children’s Hospital. Off campus, you’ll probably find me geeking out over plants, biking around Boston, playing frisbee, or journaling/writing under a tree (which one depends on the day). As a first-generation college student, I know how difficult it can be to navigate the college application process. I didn’t know where to start until my friends, family, and mentors helped me find my way. As a student coordinator at the Harvard First Generation Program (HFGP), I’m so excited to meet you and hope I can be a support for you the way my folks were for me. If you see me around, please stop me and say hello!
